This is absolutely going to a problem if the players never get any story development for their own characters within the Living Story. I think I would be a bad mistake to create a Destiny’s Edge II though as all the old problems will resurface with the players getting jealous of other character’s story advancement. Kiel is almost certain to be the lead human character because she has the airship and she’s been leading all the story so far that doesn’t involve Braham and Rox. The identikit asura scientist who made us run about for parts during the Queen’s Jubilee is the most likely asura adventurer so far. Canach – secondborn, fell from Consortium favor and is now a misguided attempting heroĬanach is the most likely Sylvari.Caithe – firstborn, lover fell to Nightmare, misguided in how to reunite DE.Kiel – stalwart soldier from day 1 (unlike Logan), took position in council held by Logan’s friend.Marjory – former guard, hired by Logan, now a freelance detective (kind of reverse of Logan).Logan – former mercenary, rose to prominence.Braham – son of Eir, lost father as well.Rox – Blood Legion, lost warband, trying to get into Rytlock’s warband.Rytlock – Blood Legion, distanced from warband, killed his legionaire and rose to Tribune.Would have been too perfect to skip.īut on the notion of NPCs in the LS that mirror DE… On the DE 2.0 – if they were gonna do that, we would’ve seen Rox and or Braham meeting the human at Jubilee. Scott replied with saying that’s an interesting observation and effectively saying “there are no intentions to go that way, but thongs in the future may change.” Anyways, the question was roughly asking that since Scarlet is like a lot of the whiney playerbase, is it possible players begin relating to her leading to her becoming a good guy. On cellphone so no link atm but there’s one to it on Scarlet’s wiki page. So no reason to throw this game away once you have finished it in its current form.I’ve got a few things to say on the topics of this thread…įirst, at the notion of Scarlet becoming a good guy – this was actually asked in the TowerTalk interview about her and the Jubilee. Potions (special loot with a unique card that can only be used once)Ī little more life in the Guild, lets have those dungeoneers wander around a bit!ĭaily challenges for endless mode (like Spelunky) New Game+ content likely special challenges or ways to replay missions after winning campaign Rename dungeoneers at any time, not just in hiring screen Tooltips for traits that come up on tooltips themselves (eg 'quick' or 'leader') "īattle scars system (dungeoneers get them as they win quests)įast-mode option to speed up all animationsĪ special 'endless dungeon' mode, separate to the campaign for highscore fun You will need to attempt a quest with one of your other dungeoneers before a replacement arrives. When you lose a dungeoneer it now takes time to find a replacement. "Dungeoneer rehiring is no longer instant. "Once you completely clear out any of the regions in the game (grasslands, jungle, mines & pirate's cove) you unlock the option to replay levels in that region. But as they complete quests they gain battle scars that can be good or bad. New dungeoneers are always 'blank' and exactly alike. "Dungeoneers now gain Battle Scar traits over time, as they survive dungeon runs. There will be 3 main things that makes this feel more interesting to play.
